KNOW THE CODES
This campaign targets Marion County youth ages 13-24 with age-appropriate messages about violence, bullying, restorative justice, and positive codes of conduct. The approach of “Know The Codes” combines two evidence-based approaches to violence reduction: Violence Reduction via Environmental Design and Violence Reduction through Social Norms Messaging. The approach also features technology allowing for merchants, youth and family serving agencies, and other public/private entities to link information, benefits, and services to the campaign as incentives for adoption/participation.
